We are happy to finally see everyone at our hybrid in-person and virtual meeting, and in order to still keep everyone healthy and safe, AFS has decided to implement Covid vaccination policies for all attendees coming in person. Virtual attendees who are considering changing to in-person attendance should also take note of these policies.

AFS Annual Meeting Covid Vaccination Guidance

AFS accepts the following proof of Covid vaccination status in order for meeting participants to enter the meeting and receive registration materials. There are three ways to comply:

  1. VaxYes by gogetdoc: Visit the platform and enter your information to download your CDC vaccine verification card and manage your vaccination status. It only takes a few minutes to register. For more information or to register, visit: https://start.gogetdoc.com/login?utm_source=level2&utm_medium=email&utm_id=vaxyesemails
  2. Present your CDC Vaccination Record Card or an image of it. Bring your CDC-issued Vaccination Record Card or an image of it that matches your identification.
  3. Negative Covid Test. If you maintain a vaccination waiver for medical or other purposes, AFS requests you receive a Covid test within three days before traveling to Baltimore and present evidence of negative test results in lieu of a vaccination record card.

AFS will have a Pre Registration Check-In booth in the Hilton Hotel Lobby for presenting your vaccination record or Covid test, if exempt. You will receive a wristband to proceed to the AFS Registration area to receive your badge.

We appreciate your compliance with these measures to help protect the health of meeting participants, volunteers, and staff.

We also have Social Comfort Zone colored stickers for badges that will be available at the Pre Registration check-in booth & Information Booth at the top of the escalator.
